MY JOURNEY

I am Giovanni Musumeci, I see architecture and design as a vehicle for improving people's lives, and as a utensil for sustainable growth. No matter the scale of the project.

My journey into architecture started when I was 15  with a technical drawing and art class in my high school in Italy, the professor of the subject was an architect, he inspired me to to undertake this journey and understand the various aspects of design and technical drawing in depth, I consider the understanding of spaces and shapes in both 2D and 3D as a very important base from which to start my higher honour academic journey. My journey to the U.K was important to broaden my understanding of cultures and it's influence on architecture. Coming from a small town in Italy you can understand how impactful that could have been.

I started with a Foundation course in Architecture and Interior design I used this year to explore a number of different skills and experiment a number

of creative processes and to give my self a base to understand spaces and their

qualities

Subsequently to me  finishing my foundation year I decided to start my Ba at the University of Westminster.
