BEIJING RESIDENTIAL HOUSING DEVELOPMENT

This project seeks to address the issue

of mitigate the levels of privacy and

create a diverse comunity and stitch together

a fragmented urban envirorment

through a multilevel perforated building

which offeres a range of courtyards

through an intricate play with a shallow

depth linear block. The proposal seeks

to offer a transition through the broken

street scape, at a community/building

level it offers it’s neighbours open air

spaces and shops. At a dwelling level it

offers a variaty of apartments for each

tipology of apartment created, whilst

still creating a sense of comunity by

bridging the tipologies together both

phisically and conceptually.
